Final Processing Specialist
Location: Billerica, MA
Pay Rate: $20 per hour
Hours: 6:00AM to 2:30PM, M-F
Full-Time, Temp-to-Perm
Position Overview
Our client is a leader in electroplating and anodization metal finishing services and is seeking a detail-oriented Final Processing Specialist to assist with their post plating product finishing operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform detailed post-plating and post-anodizing finishing work
- Conduct cleaning, cosmetic detailing, and touch-up of parts to remove residue and minor surface imperfections.
- Prepare parts for final inspection by verifying cosmetic quality, surface condition
- Coordinate with QC to ensure finished parts are capable of passing final inspection
- Package completed orders accurately and carefully per customer requirements
- Remove masking materials without damaging coatings, threads, or critical surfaces.
- Perform blasting operations as required to meet customer finish requirements.
- Move parts and orders safely throughout the shop to support production flows
Experience & Qualifications
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Strong attention to detail to help identify cosmetic and surface-related defects.
- Familiar with specifications, workmanship standards, and acceptance criteria.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Flexibility and willingness to shift tasks based on operational needs.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, safely handle parts and materials
- Prior surface finishing experience preferred
