Production Machine Operator
Location: Amherst, NH
Pay Rate: $15 per hour
Hours: First (7:00AM) and Second (3:30PM) Shifts
Full Time, Temp to Perm
Position Overview
Our client is a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of nonwoven textile products for a automotive, furniture, bedding and other applications. They are seeking reliable and detail oriented Production Machine Operators for both their first and second shifts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications
- Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measures finished parts with precision tools ensuring quality
- Maintain production logs and records
- Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment;
- performs basic and routine adjustments and maintenance
- Maintains a clean, safe, and orderly work area
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with lathes, grinders, mills, and similar equipment preferred
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
- Ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time
- HS Diploma or GED preferred but not required
