We are seeking Experienced Tow Truck Drivers to join our team in Dorchester, MA.
Schedule: TBD
Pay Rate: $22- $26/hr
Responsibilities:
- Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Load and unload vehicles onto the tow truck using appropriate equipment
- Perform automotive diagnostics and minor repairs as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting stranded motorists and addressing their concerns
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating the tow truck
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided
Skills & Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for this position, along with a current DOT Medical card.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a tow truck driver
- Familiarity with operating a flatbed tow truck is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and minor repairs is a plus
- Must pass background screening
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with stranded motorists
- Conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping
