Job Full Description
We are seeking Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join our client's team in Plainville, MA to repair and install RV roofs to company proprietary standards.
Training is provided (accepting Summer help applicants)
Hours: 8am - 4:30pm (M-F)
Pay Rate: $18 - $20/hr
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Using grinders, electric drills with wire wheels, hand scrapers, as well as pneumatic hand tools
Primary Duties:
- Operate power tools to company standards
- Adhere to proprietary roof preparation techniques
- Maintain and clean shop as required and needed
Qualifications
- Understand and maintain company standards for roof preparation
- Follow the direction of management
- Ability to identify roof damage
- Read and understand different aspects of company training material and documentation
- Must be capable of standing up for 3-4 hours at a time
- Climb scaffolding
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to tolerate dust and extreme heat at times
- Agility to squat, kneel in different positions
