Job Full Description
We are seeking Production Operators who have experience running machines in manufacturing, who are available to train on the 1st shift for a few weeks before transferring to the 2nd shift.
Hours for training: 6:30am-5pm (Mon - Thurs) (up to 3 months) leading to Regular Shift: 4:30pm - 3am (Mon - Thurs)
Pay Rate: $19+/hr(based on Manufacturing experience) plus shift differential on second shift

You must have manufacturing experience and know how to examine parts and use measuring devices.
This job involves cutting stainless tubes into pieces with a cutting blade installed vertically on the machine. The machine is CNC run, you must be able to verify parts, make adjustments, and utilize measurement instruments.
Responsibilities:
• Operates and verifies the quality of work on a wide variety of ECC (ElectroChemical Cutting) saws involving close tolerances.
• Performs routine or repetitive operations in a manner that will consistently meet quality requirements and production standards.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Runs routine and repetitive operations that are set up on a wide variety of ECC saws
• Works from drawings and/or specifications as well as other Traveler instructions at times under supervision.
• Makes suggestions for improvements to processes to enhance operations.
• Maintains required tooling, as needed, to manufacture parts to specifications.
• Conducts quality checks through the use of fixed or adjustable precision measuring devices.
• Lubricates and cleans machines as necessary.
• Maintains work area in a neat and orderly condition. Works safely, and complies with all established safety rules and work practices.
• Complies with Company, Department, and quality policies and procedures as applicable.
• Keeps the Area Lead informed of job-related problems and other information related to work activity.
• Maintains a positive attitude and promotes a “team” approach throughout the Department.
• Performs multiple operations as required.
• Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
Essential skills and experience:
• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous ECC saws operating experience is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
