Job Full Description
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Electronics Warehouse Supervisors to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision.
Schedule: (M-F) 7am - 3:30pm (plus overtime when needed)
Pay Rate: $22 - $26/hr
Duties
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a team-oriented environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like AS400 to track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Operate or oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to facilitate efficient movement of electronics components.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline distribution center operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during heavy lifting, equipment operation, and general warehouse activities.
- Coordinate logistics for shipping & receiving schedules, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse supervision within electronics distribution environments with strong knowledge of warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory control, inventory management systems (including RF scanners), and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and other heavy lifting machinery.
- Strong understanding of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and distribution center workflows.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through clear communication and motivation.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks involving some heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
