Overview
Our client in Holyoke, MA is seeking a skilled MIG Welder with expertise in fabrication and construction to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MIG welding.
This is a day shift opportunity. Monday-Friday (7am-3:30pm)
Duties
- Perform MIG welding on various materials, including sheet metal and pipe components, adhering to project specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment to assemble metal components.
- Conduct precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring devices to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to construction site work and manufacturing processes.
Skills
- Proven experience with MIG welding in construction or manufacturing settings.
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, hand tools, power tools, and other fabrication equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics and basic math for measurements and calculations.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to welding and construction work.
