A family owned precision machining company in Jackson is searching for CNC Operators. This company was opened in 1987, providing world-class quality screw machine and CNC products to clients around the world. As a CNC Operator Machinist, you will be responsible for but not limited to: Producing precision components using CNC Lathes with a bar feeder. CNC Mill. Maintaining quality documentation for the product being produced. Maintaining tooling during production which requires the ability to change insert style tools. Measuring product using micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers & optical comparators. Maintaining work area to insure a clean, safe, organized work environment.
Abilities Required: Able to read and understand blueprints. Able to read Measuring Equipment such as micrometer, caliper, profilometers and comparators.
Location: Jackson, MI
Position Type: Evaluation Hire, Full Time
Pay: $17.00 + depending on skills and abilities
Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday through Friday
Qualifications:
- 1+ years' of CNC Operator experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and complete production paperwork
- Have reliable attendance and transportation
