Now Hiring: Apartment Maintenance Technicians
A well-established local apartment community in Hastings, MI is seeking skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technicians to join their team.
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general maintenance and light cleaning duties to ensure our apartment community remains safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.
Key Responsibilities:

Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner

Repair and replace electrical outlets
-
Install garbage disposals
-
Replace toilets and perform basic plumbing repairs
-
Complete unit turns between residents
-
Perform drywall patching and minor repairs/replacements
-
Assist with general upkeep and other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods
-
Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
-
Pushing and pulling as needed
-
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Pay: $18 - $20 per hour depending on skills and experience
Schedule: 1st shift: 8:30am-5pm M-F, will need to be available to be on-call for afterhours maintenance emergencies
Qualifications: Candidates need to have at least 1 year of apartment/residential maintenance experience. Clean background is required for insurance purposes.
