Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Back-up Water Jet Operator Job Summary: A premier foam manufacturing company located in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Back Up Water Jet for their thriving organization. Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Back-up Water Jet Operator Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and ship all outgoing product to customers after verifying accuracy
- Working in ERP to report production, picking lists and received product
- Arrange and book freight/parcel for all outgoing shipments
- Working with QA for any non conformities and excessive scrap
- Driving forklift and doing daily checks, preventative maintenance and update maintenance logs
- Assist with cycle counts
- Assist with incoming log and put away requirements
- Assist with correcting inventory discrepancies quarantining nonconforming products
- Operating Water Jet machine as needed
- Flexible to assist in other areas as needed
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st Shift 6:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required
- $21.00/HR
Shipping and Receiving Specialist/Back-up Water Jet Operator Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of work experience in a similar position
- Service driven team player that is willing to assist with tasks as needed
- Self-driven and solution oriented
- Strong Microsoft Office and ERP experience
- Forklift Experience
- Willing to work in area needed
- Excellent communication skills
- High School Diploma
