Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Associates to join a growing manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with previous manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial production experience who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform shipping and receiving duties, including preparing materials for shipment and verifying incoming inventory.
- Apply protective coatings and clean production tools and equipment.
- Safely operate an overhead crane and stand-up forklift (training or prior experience preferred).
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience.
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations.
- Forklift experience, especially stand-up forklift operation, is preferred.
- Experience operating an overhead crane is a plus.
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment and chemical bath processes.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to think quickly and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
