Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a busy CNC Machining facility to assist in adding CNC Machinists and Operators to their manufacturing team in both direct hire and evaluation-to-hire, permanent positions.
Pay dependent on experience, skills, and work history.
Summary: CNC Machinists and Operators are responsible for running one or more CNC machines, executing offsets and tool changes, troubleshooting machine issues with the Line Leader, and performing quality checks and adjustments in order to produce high quality parts in a timely manner. Edits, offsets, programming and setups is a plus!
CNC Machinist and Operator Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and understanding of metric/standard measurements and decimals
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to run one or more machine while monitoring offsets and tool changes
- Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic machine alarms
- Load and unload parts and components
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 1+ Years CNC Lathe or Mill Machinist or Operator experience required
- Ability to use basic gauges such as micrometers, calipers, height stands, attribute gauges, etc. to measure close tolerances
- Ability to understand and follow safety and quality guidelines
- Familiarity with Fanuc, Hass, MAZATROL SMOOTHX CONTROL controls preferred
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T required for Machinist
- Setups and programming experience is a plus!
