Overview
We are seeking interested candidates with experience in manufacturing or heat treatment to join our dynamic weekend manufacturing team in Chesterfield, MI.
If you're looking for a second job on the weekends, or are only available for weekend work, we want to talk to you! No Experience necessary, we will train you if you have the desire and aptitude.
Weekend/Day: 7 AM to 7:30 PM Saturday, Sunday, & Monday
Weekend/Night: 7 PM to 7:30 AM Saturday, Sunday, & Monday
Pay: $20.00/hr. and overtime after 8 hours/day.
Duties
- Operate and maintain heat treat furnaces.
- Plan and change out furnace loads.
- Pack all treated parts.
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and load carts.
- Monitor programs and furnace performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or heat treatment.
- Stable work history with proven reliability.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely (certification preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and love to learn new skills and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic shop math skills.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities.
