Express Employment Professionals is excited to partner with a manufacturer of coatings solutions to fulfill their need for a Production Technician. The Production Technician is responsible for assembling and testing temperature control units. Candidates must have some experience working with electrical and mechanical components and assemblies. This is a permanent, full-time, contract-to-hire position.

Day Shift – Monday thru Thursday: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, overtime as required

Starting Pay: $18.00 to $20.00 or more per hour, depending on experience

Production Technician Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Build units to blueprint drawings and specifications
• Braze and solder copper assemblies
• Perform function test and evaluation before shipping
• Previous experience with electrical, mechanical, or refrigeration components and assemblies
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Experience with using basic hand and power tools
• Strong analytical problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
• Other duties as assigned
