We're seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a stable manufacturing facility in Rochester Hills. This position is responsible for maintaining production equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and supporting a safe and efficient manufacturing operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and wants to continue learning and developing their maintenance skills.
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment
- Repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and production support needs
- Assist with equipment installations and process improvements
- Read equipment manuals and identify effective repair solutions
- Support continuous operation of manufacturing equipment
What We're Looking For
- Maintenance experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical equipment
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read manuals, diagnose issues, and solve problems independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Someone who enjoys working with their hands and figuring out how things work
Nice to Have
- Plastic injection molding or foam molding experience
- Basic PLC knowledge
- Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment
