About the Company
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a Chesterfield-based manufacturer known for providing exceptional quality and customer value to OEMs and Tier 1 automotive suppliers. This company is committed to producing high-quality components while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
We are seeking Quality Inspectors for our 2nd Shift team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hourly inspections of production parts
- Use gauges and measuring instruments to verify part quality
- Conduct visual inspections for defects, including:
- Breaks
- Burrs
- Surface imperfections
- Dimensional concerns
- Document inspection results and communicate quality issues promptly
- Work closely with production personnel to maintain quality standards
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
- Pay - $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Qualifications
Line Die Department
- Experience working with metal parts required
- Previous quality inspection experience preferred
- Will consider machine operators who have assisted with checking and inspecting parts
- Strong attention to detail
Press Room Department
- Requires more advanced quality inspection experience
- Experience inspecting stamped or formed metal parts preferred
- Ability to work independently and make quality-related decisions
- Higher pay available based on experience
Required Skills
- Ability to use gauges and basic inspection equipment
- Strong visual inspection skills
- Ability to identify defects and quality issues
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment
