MIG Welder
Job Summary:
Our client is looking for an experienced MIG welder to join their team!
What you’ll be doing as a MIG Welder
· Perform MIG welding on steel and other metals according to blueprints, specifications, and welding procedures.
· Configure and maintain MIG welding equipment, including adjusting gas flow, wire feed speed, and voltage settings for optimal performance.
· Cut, grind, and clamp metal components to prepare them for welding processes.
· Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure precise weld placement and dimensions.
· Inspect finished welds for strength, appearance, and adherence for specifications; make adjustments as needed to ensure high-quality output.
What you’ll need to succeed as a MIG Welder
· 2+ years of experience as a MIG Welder
· Be able to perform a test on site and pass
· Have your own equipment (gloves, helmet, etc.)
· Certifications and preferred but not required
Additional information for the MIG Welder
· Shifts:
o First shift: $19.70/hr.
o Second shift: $20.95/hr.
