Job Full Description
Local Redford Metal Forming & Heat Treat facility is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician whose core responsibilities include repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, facilities and equipment preventing excessive downtime and interrupted schedules
Daily Duties:
- Maintain production equipment to minimize any downtime in the production process
- Repair production equipment in a breakdown situation
- Perform schedule preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and manipulator
- Other job duties as required
Location: Redford, MI
Position type: Full time, Direct Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday 1st shift (with flexibility for issues on off-shifts)
Pay: $22/hr. BOE
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year previous machine maintenance experience
- Welding and Electrical experience required
- Ability to stand, bend, sit and lift up to 50 lbs. consistently along with walking 8-10 hours daily
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and interpersonal skills
