Job Full Description
Description: Express client in Detroit, MI is in need of a Custodian. Responsibilities include general cleaning/sanitizing of the building and restrooms. Minor repairs and maintenance. Limited yardwork (Mow lawn, trim hedges, snow removal). Window washing, keeping organized, and stocked janitor's room. Assisting in examining school for safety hazards, report deficiencies to lead custodian, principal, and/or school resource officer. Other related duties as assigned.
Location: Detroit, MI
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: $15.00 an hour
Qualifications: An ideal candidate will have knowledge of safety hazards and the proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions. Will be detail-oriented and thorough. Perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance. Will have professional interaction with others at school. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, and be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
