Madison Heights based Decor Manufacturing and installation company is seeking an experienced Sign Spray Painter to join their busy 1st shift. Core responsibilities include: 

• Paint letters, numbers, signs, and other décor items with a hand-held pneumatic spray gun.
• Spray paint wood, metal, plastic, and foam décor components.
• Use proper paint and primer for each type of material.
• Check finished product for quality before it leaves paint area.
• Maintain a clean work area, clean/change filters as needed.
• Keep floor clear of debris.
• Ability to clean and maintain spray guns.
• Other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.

Location: Madison Heights, MI 

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; OT, as required, during the week and Saturdays 

Pay: $19-21/hr. Based on experience

Position Type: Full time, Evaluation Hire, long term  

Qualifications: 

• 3 + years’ experience using gravity-fed sprayers.
• Having a general understanding of signage and graphics materials, substrates, and manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible and overtime hours is required. Some Saturdays are required, and OT in excess of 50 hours during the months of March-November is required.
• Great attention to detail with a goal-driven attitude.
• Fast-paced work environment, must have a sense of urgency along with quality work.
• Strong comprehension and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to be open to constructive feedback
