Our Client a local cannabis delivery company in Hazel Park is seeking Warehouse Associates and Delivery Driver Assistants to join their team!
ore responsibilities for the Delivery Driver Associates
- Assisting with deliveries throughout the state of MI. Could be anywhere in the state (lower peninsula) Examples: Metro Detroit, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, Saginaw, etc. (back at home that evening).
- Delivering medical and recreational grade cannabis directly to customers.
- Driver Assistants are expected to remain with their assigned driver to assist with unloading the vehicle at each delivery location. Once unloading is complete, the shift will be concluded.
Core responsibilities for the Warehouse Associates
- Load and unload vehicles and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs. independently.
- Remain on feet for extended periods while performing job tasks.
- Follow safety procedures and proper lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with general warehouse operations as needed
Location: Hazel Park, MI
Position type: Full time, long term, permanent
Shift:
Warehouse Associate: Monday - Friday 1:00 PM - 12:00 AM (Midnight)
Delivery Driver Assistant Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
(Could extend longer/or be shorter depends on delivery route)
(Must be able to handle changing schedules)
Pay: $19-20/hr. Paid Weekly
An Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Clean background check
- High school diploma or GED
- Delivery Driver: 3 years (Required)
- Warehouse Associate: 3 years (Required)
