Job Full Description
Our client, a custom sign making shop, is seeking an experienced CNC operator to join their 2nd shift team. Responsibilities in this role include operating CNC machine using computer controlled routers to cut out materials like wood and syntras creating large displays and decal for interior designs and marketing.
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Shift: Monday - Thursday 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM and mandatory overtime on Fridays
Position type: Full time, permanent
Pay: $18-19/hr. (Based on experience and interview results)
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operation experience, including machine setup
- Hands-on experience with Multicam routers required
- Experience working with raw materials (non-metal) such as wood, plastic, or composites
- Familiarity with 2-axis CNC machine operations
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and data input
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
