Job Full Description
Our client in Madison Heights is currently looking for a Racker/Packer
Job Duties:
- Load and position heavy driveshaft components onto racks along the assembly line for processing
- Safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs. while performing repetitive bending and lifting tasks
- Remove finished products from the production line and rack them appropriately for further processing or shipment
- Maintain consistent workflow by supporting and operating the assembly line during short-staffed conditions
- Perform repetitive material handling tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production goals
- Ensure proper placement of parts to prevent damage and maintain product quality standards
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with company safety policies and procedures
- Follow all safety guidelines and use proper lifting techniques to minimize risk of injury
Location: Madison Heights, MI
Position type: Full time, long term, permanent
Training Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM for 90 days
Permanent Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Pay: $16/hr. Per Hr. Paid Weekly
Physical Requirements:
- Heavy lifting required
- Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout shift in a manufacturing environment
An Ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Heavy Lifting Required
- Experience racking automotive parts by hand
- Experience in powder coating manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED
