Job Full Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join our team in Redford, MI. This position is responsible for maintaining warehouse operations, managing inventory, preparing finished products for shipment, and safely operating forklifts to move materials throughout the facility.
Job Duties:
- Stock and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure materials are organized and readily available.
- Package finished products for shipment while ensuring accuracy and proper handling.
- Inspect products before shipment to ensure no damaged or defective materials are sent out.
- Operate stand-up forklifts to safely move materials throughout the facility and load/unload trucks.
- Assist quality inspectors during high-volume production periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines while performing daily warehouse tasks.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of warehouse and material handling experience required.
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Must be able to operate stand-up forklifts.
- Forklift skills test will be required during the interview process.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
