Welder/Fabricator March 30, 2026

Located in Bay City, MI

Pay: $18

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of sheet metal materials and thicknesses.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate parts accurately.
Form corners, square parts, and assemble components using hand tools, clamps, and fixtures.
Take raw materials (not preassembled) and build fully fabricated components or structures.
Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy; grind welds as needed for a clean finish.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail and craftsmanship on every job.
Operate safely in a fast-paced shop environment while keeping the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

Must have real-world welding/fabrication experience (not entry-level or fresh out of welding school).
Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and fabrication drawings.
Experience welding with MIG, TIG, and Stick on various sheet metals and thicknesses.
Ability to form, square, and assemble from raw materials with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of grinding and finishing techniques for clean, professional welds.
