Job Full Description

Job Summary:

• Clean and prepare surfaces to ensure proper adhesion of paint or coating.

• Mix and prepare paint according to job requirements.

• Operate handheld spray guns to apply wet paint or coatings as specified.

• Operate portable powder coating equipment safely and efficiently.

• Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty finishes according to blueprints or technical documents.

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble painting equipment regularly to ensure proper functioning.

• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding job progress and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:

• Prefer at least 2 years of experience as an industrial painter in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and paint specifications independently.

• Familiarity with various paint types, coatings, and application methods.

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing ladders.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
