Press Machine Operator March 30, 2026

Located in Bay City, MI

Pay: $17-$20 BOE

Job Summary:

Set up and run complex bend and forming operations on Cincinnati and Amada Press Brakes.
Select and install appropriate tooling to achieve specified dimensions and part geometry.
Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications with minimal supervision.
Perform basic troubleshooting and complete routine preventive maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
Operate additional manufacturing equipment such as rolls, overhead cranes, Whitney punch presses, Pem machines, and hand tools as required.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.
Adhere to quality and safety programs, including ISO-9001 standards.
Participate fully in and support the Metro Fab. Quality System.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of press brake operation experience in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and press brake tooling.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, layouts, and work instructions.
Good math skills; capable of using tape measures, rulers, and squares accurately.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and twisting.
Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
