Job Full Description
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout apartment units and common areas
- Respond to resident maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner
- Perform basic plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, sinks, drains, and water leaks
- Complete basic electrical repairs, including outlets, switches, light fixtures, and other electrical components
- Repair and replace doors, locks, cabinets, drywall, flooring, and other apartment fixtures
- Perform painting, patching, caulking, and other general repairs as needed
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify necessary repairs
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through repairs, cleaning, painting, and general upkeep
- Perform preventative maintenance on property equipment and building systems
- Maintain grounds and common areas as neededUse hand tools and power tools to complete maintenance and repair tasks
- Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance requests and repairs
- Follow safety procedures while completing maintenance work
- Communicate with residents and property management regarding maintenance issues and completed repairs
- Participate in a bi-weekly on-call rotation
