Job Title: 2nd Shift Powder Processing Associate (Evaluation-to-Hire)
Pay: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Powder Processing Associate to join our shipping and receiving team on 2nd shift. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential for permanent hire for candidates who demonstrate strong attendance, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload inbound shuttle trailers and outbound finished goods trailers
- Receive shipments both physically and within inventory management systems
- Verify product labels and shipment accuracy
- Identify and replace damaged pallets and products
- Repair or replace damaged powder sacks and finished product cases
- Maintain inventory accuracy using handheld scanners
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for storing raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Support overall warehouse and shipping operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Equipment Used:
- Sit-down propane forklift
- Handheld scanners
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Reaching, stooping, balancing, pulling, lifting, and grasping
- Ability to perform physically active warehouse duties
- Visual, hearing, and communication abilities required for safe operation
