The Company:

We have partnered with a local company that is engaging in various types of products, including washing systems, precision injection molding, automotive electronics, and automotive wiring.

Summary:

We are looking for an Injection Molding Technician. Experience in injection molding operations, preferably in the automotive or related industries. Ability to read and interpret machine manuals and operating instructions. High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in injection molding technology is preferred. Familiarity with various types of injection molding machines and molds. Proficiency in using measurement tools and quality control techniques.

Qualifications: 

  • Responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molding machines to produce high - quality automotive electronic components
  • Machine Operation : Set up, operate, and monitor injection molding machines according to production schedules and quality standards
  • Ensure proper installation of molds and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, pressure, and cycle time to achieve optimal production efficiency and part quality
  • Conduct regular checks on machine performance during the production process, including checking for leaks, abnormal noises, and proper functioning of all components
  • Quality Control : Inspect molded parts regularly using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure they meet dimensional and quality specifications
  • Identify and address any quality issues immediately, including warping, flash, or incomplete filling, and make necessary adjustments to the molding process
  • Collaborate with the quality control team to implement quality improvement initiatives and adhere to quality management systems. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on injection molding machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn - out parts
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems in injection molding machines and molds
  • When necessary, work with maintenance technicians or external service providers to resolve complex issues
  • Keep accurate records of machine maintenance and repairs, including maintenance schedules, replacement parts, and downtime
  • Production Support : Work closely with production planners and other team members to ensure smooth production flow
  • Assist in loading raw materials, removing finished parts, and transporting them to the next production stage
  • Follow safety procedures at all times and ensure a clean and organized work environment
  • Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall process efficiency
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems related to injection molding machines
  • Good problem - solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a production environment
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift and move heavy objects (up to [X] pounds) as required. Good hand - eye coordination and manual dexterity
