Job Title: 1st Shift Packaging Associate (Evaluation Hire)
We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a 1st Shift Packaging Associate. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in a stable, team-focused environment with strong growth potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble skids according to customer specifications
- Remove produced metal coils from the line and package them properly
- Band and secure skidded materials based on customer requirements
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Work Environment & Equipment:
- Work with heavy coil metal (safety awareness is critical)
- Operate equipment including overhead crane (training provided), Stampco machine, and Roush machine
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and remain on your feet for most of the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Willingness to learn quickly and advance to a Machine Operator Assistant role within 30 days
Schedule and Pay:
- Monday through Friday, 5:45 AM – 2:45 PM (1-hour lunch)
- Pay rate: $17.50 per hour
