Job Title: 1st Shift Stacker / Machine Operator (Temporary/Contract)
Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:30 PM
Classification: Temporary/Contract
We are looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to join our team as a Stacker / Machine Operator. This hands-on position involves working with large steel products in a manufacturing environment and offers on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stack large steel pieces coming off production machines
- Work alongside team members to safely handle and move materials
- Learn and perform banding procedures to secure finished products
- Follow production procedures and safety guidelines
- Assist with general production and material handling duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and be trained on production processes
- Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing setting
Required Safety Equipment:
- Ankle-high steel-toe work boots are required
- Hard hat (provided by client)
- Long-sleeve shirts required for protection while handling steel materials
Important: Candidates will be sent home if proper steel-toe footwear is not worn.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the shift
- Ability to handle and move large steel materials safely
- Comfortable performing repetitive physical tasks in a production environment
