The Company:
We have partnered with a local company that is one of North America's premier processors, buyers, sellers, and recyclers of scrap metals of all kind.
Summary:
We are looking for 1st. shift dependable laborer to support daily plant operations. High school diploma preferred. One month of experience. Candidates must be reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions.
Qualifications:

Load and unload materials by hand, truck, hi-lo, or other equipment

Move materials on and from a conveyor system located 15 feet above ground level using a catwalk

Shovel dirt, mud, ice, and other debris from production equipment

Sort recyclable materials and metals, separating high-grade metals (copper, brass, aluminum) and removing non-conforming items

Perform cleaning duties related to plant equipment and general housekeeping.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE

Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift/move up to 25 lbs.

Ability to walk frequently and work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures

Steel-toed shoes are required

Hardworking, dependable, and safety focused

Experience with sit-down hi-lo and use of hand tools preferred
