Job Title: Injection Molding Machine Operator (Evaluation Hire)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our team on 1st shift. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, clean facility with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor plastic injection molding machines
- Perform in-process quality inspections using visual checks, calipers, and gauges
- Identify and separate defective materials or scrap
- Remove finished products from machines and complete secondary operations such as trimming and finishing
- Package and label products according to work orders
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe while following all safety procedures
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
- Comfortable using hand tools and inspection equipment
Work Environment & Equipment:
- Work with plastic injection molding machines and precision measuring tools
- Clean, newly built facility with modern equipment
- Exposure to noise, odors, and temperature fluctuations
Physical Requirements:
- Stand and walk for 8–10 hours per shift
- Frequent use of hands and inspection tools
- Ability to push, pull, or carry 30–50 pounds occasionally
- Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
Pay and Schedule:
- Pay rate: $18.50 per hour
- Monday through Thursday, 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM
