Job Title: Stamping Press Operator (Evaluation-to-Hire)
Pay: $28.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Classification: Evaluation-to-Hire
We are seeking a skilled Stamping Press Operator to join a growing team producing high-quality automotive components. This is an excellent opportunity to work with brand new Komatsu servo presses in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that values precision and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate stamping presses to form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform routine inspections of tooling and equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
- Maintain accurate records of production, quality checks, and machine maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Assist other departments and support production needs as required
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling production demands
- Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Occasional lifting, up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing setting that may be loud, warm, and dusty
