Job Title: 1st Shift Inserting Associate (Evaluation-to-Hire)
Pay: $14.00/hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Looking for a great entry-level opportunity with room to grow? We are hiring Inserting Associates to join a fast-paced production team. No prior experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Feed products into machine pockets
- Keep inserter machines supplied with materials
- Strap newspaper bundles for distribution
- Lift and move newspaper bundles as required
- Maintain production pace and support team goals
- Follow safety and quality procedures
Qualifications:
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production setting
- Ability to keep pace with production demands
Equipment Used:
- Inserter machines
- Press machines
- Bundle strapping equipment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Repetitive lifting of approximately 10 lbs. (up to 300 lifts per hour)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Work Environment:
- Large newspaper production facility
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Temperatures may be warm during summer and cooler during winter
- Production floor, press area, and break room available
