Job Title: Assistant Manager (Evaluation-to-Hire)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a residential property management office. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in leasing, resident relations, marketing, and property operations while building a long-term career in property management.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing & Resident Services
- Schedule appointments and assist prospective residents
- Complete guest cards and conduct weekly follow-up calls
- Send thank-you correspondence and maintain prospect records
- Assist with move-in packets, certifications, and recertifications
- Help execute resident retention initiatives and community activities
- Assist with resident newsletters and communications
Administrative & Marketing Support
- Prepare daily and weekly marketing reports
- Track lease expirations and outreach marketing effectiveness
- Maintain waiting lists and resident files
- Conduct market surveys of competing properties, pricing, and promotions
- Monitor email correspondence and company communications
Property Operations
- Assist with delinquent notices and eviction documentation
- Coordinate contractor scheduling for apartment turnovers
- Support property inspections and operational projects
- Attend required training sessions and meetings
- Perform additional administrative and property-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with computers, email, and office software
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the property as needed
- Occasional standing, walking, and light office-related physical activity
