Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is looking for a Robot Operator for a great company in Delano! You will be responsible for operating and maintaining robot welder. This Robot Operator position is M-Thursday from 6am-3:30pm and Friday from 6am-10am and the pay is $20-25/hr. If you have great attention to detail, organized and motivated, apply now!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Load parts in appropriate fixturing and run robot welder while maintaining established productivity rates & quality requirements
- Examine welded sections for defects and perform necessary rework of bad welds.
- Reference prints and work instructions to determine the appropriate materials, tools, resources, and procedures for effectively completing processes.
- Perform in-process quality checks to verify parts meet customer specifications using test fixturing, rulers, micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Perform minor machine adjustments & preventative maintenance.
- Analyze and resolves work problems, or assist in solving work problems.
- Maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Assist in training other welders.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-2 years welding experience in manufacturing and/or
- 1-2 years welding certificate from college or technical school
- Must be able to interpret and work from prints, work orders and verbal directions
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good manual dexterity and ability to use variety of torches, hand/power tools
- Must be able to pass weld test
- Strong math skills
- HS/GED
