Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Entry-Level Technician for a company located in Inver Grove Heights, MN. The technician will be performing stress relieving and heat treatment tasks in an industrial environment. Our ideal candidate is mechanically inclined and is comfortable with frequent travel. Responsibilities:
- Perform heat treating services for piping independently
- Apply insulation per code and specifications as required by the supervisor
- Operate equipment and materials related to heat treatment industry (cables, heaters, supplies)
- Work cooperatively with clients and colleagues
- Travel frequently and work non-standard hours (24-hour availability)
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required, trade school training preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of following directions
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to frequently lift/push 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in extreme conditions
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 8am-4:30pm
