Location: South Saint Paul and Eagan MN
Schedule:
Eagan-Monday-Friday 6am to 2:30pm
2nd shift Eagan, Monday-Thursday- 2:15 pm- 12:45am
Saint Paul-Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: $25 - $29 per hour (DOE)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team. This position requires proficiency in setting up and operating Machines, optimizing machining processes, and ensuring high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have experience with Mastercam( a plus), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate a variety of Machines including printing press, brake press, laminators, die cutting, labeling systems, card insertion machines, etc.
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency and tool longevity
- Edit and adjust CNC programs as needed
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Utilize Mastercam to draw parts and make necessary program edits
- Ensure all produced parts meet quality and production standards
- Perform routine measurements and inspections to maintain compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Collaborate professionally with team members and supervisors
- Follow all workplace safety protocols
- Assist with general shop maintenance as needed
What we look for:
- Proven experience as a Setup/Operator
- Proficiency with Haas CNC machines and Mastercam (preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to move freely throughout the shop as needed
