Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, coordinating shipments, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall warehouse productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
- Schedule and oversee daily workflow to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and warehouse policies.
- Collaborate with vendors, drivers, and internal teams to resolve shipping or inventory issues.
- Monitor equipment and supplies, requesting maintenance or replacements as needed.
- Support process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce errors.
- Train and guide warehouse staff as needed.
What we look for:
- Previous experience in warehouse coordination, logistics, or inventory management preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications (Excel, Word).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly.
Schedule: Monday-Friday -1st shift hours
