Job Full Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Specialist to join our client's growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about technology who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, and driving business growth.
In this role, you will work closely with their experienced team to qualify inbound leads, engage with existing customers and dealers, and identify new opportunities for their systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong understanding of products, customers, and market applications.
- Qualify inbound leads and generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, and referrals.
- Support existing customers and dealer relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Participate in product demonstrations, trade shows, and customer events.
- Collaborate with sales leadership on growth strategies and follow-up activities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of leads, opportunities, and communications.
- Deliver professional presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Work cross-functionally with customer service and operations teams to ensure smooth order and installation experiences.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or business development (printing, packaging, or equipment industry a plus).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and self-starter mentality.
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and industry knowledge.
- Comfortable with demonstrations and public presentations.
- Ability to travel for trade shows, prospect visits, and training events.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
