Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is currently assisting a top company to fill a maintenance role that focuses on providing affordable housing for seniors and persons with disabilities in Saint Paul and Inver Grove Heights MN . As a Maintenance Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and cleaning the facility's equipment, buildings, and grounds as scheduled to preserve structural integrity and overall upkeep. Responsibilities for this Maintenance job include:
- Perform daily inspections of grounds, parking lots, and common areas.
- Repair minor issues in buildings and foundations, including roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, basements, and mechanical systems.
- Immediately report any health, safety, or hazardous situations to management.
- Monitor maintenance supplies and procure them when necessary.
- Utilize a range of skills including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, and more to conduct maintenance, repairs, and preventative measures.
What we look for:
- At least three years of maintenance technician experience
- Knowledge of basic maintenance (painting, carpentry, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy is required.
- An HVAC certificate is helpful but not required.
- A valid and current driver’s license is required for this position
Work Schedule:
- Monday -Friday 8 AM – 5PM
