Job Full Description
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated professional to support an underwriting team by assisting with policy documentation, data entry, and coordination with internal teams and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, learning new systems, and contributing to a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. No prior insurance or underwriting experience is required -training is provided to help you succeed. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused mindset are key to thriving in this position.
Key Highlights:
- Support the underwriting process by preparing, reviewing, and maintaining policy-related documents and transactions
- Enter, update, and validate data in internal systems to ensure accuracy and timely processing of new and existing business
- Communicate with agents and internal partners to obtain information, provide status updates, and resolve routine inquiries
- Assist with policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in accordance with established procedures
- Collaborate with underwriting and operations teams to support workflow efficiency and meet service standards
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process and review information in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on professional and timely customer support
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Proficient in using computer systems and office software, with the ability to learn new applications quickly
- Demonstrated teamwork, flexibility, and problem-solving skills in a collaborative work environment
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday 10:00am-6:00pm
