On-Call Snow Removal Laborer

- On-call availability during winter storms, including nights and weekends
- Owner of our client will contact you directly regarding start times and days
- Job could begin in the middle of the night
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated On-Call Snow Removal Laborer to join our client's team during the winter season. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient removal of snow from designated areas, maintaining customer satisfaction during inclement weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the snow plow driver with manuel snow removal by shoveling walk ways, steps, and areas that is unreachable by plow
- Monitor weather conditions and be available to respond to snow events at any hour of the day
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and the public
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding weather conditions and plowing needs
- Assist with other winter maintenance tasks as required, including salting and sanding
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in challenging weather conditions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available for on-call shifts during winter weather events
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform repeat shoveling
- Comfortable working in cold and inclement weather conditions
