Customer Support Specialist - Warehouse

- Day Shift | M-F | 8am - 5pm
Job Overview
The Customer Support Specialist - Warehouse plays a crucial role in assisting current and potential customers with all aspects of customer service. This includes handling inquiries, providing information about our services, and offering rate quotes. You will develop relationships based on trust to retain both new and existing accounts.
Your responsibilities will include ensuring customers receive efficient, timely, and courteous service. You will effectively plan and coordinate the loading and unloading of a wide array of materials, which may be large, heavy, oddly shaped, fragile, or a combination of these characteristics. The Customer Support Specialist must possess knowledge of how to safely and quickly move each type of item using equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective clients through various communication channels.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information on services and rate quotes.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with customers to encourage account retention.
- Coordinate the logistics of loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently.
- Educate customers on best practices for handling and transporting a variety of materials.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or warehouse operations preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate information clearly.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment (dollies, hand trucks, forklifts).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
