Express Employment Professionals is excited to partner with States Manufacturing in Dayton, MN to hire for Shipping and Receiving roles! Celebrating over 100 years in business, States Manufacturing just expanded to this second facility to continue providing dependable electrical and metal solutions across the country.
Job Summary
As part of the Shipping and Receiving Department, you’ll be preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. This role requires regular use of forklifts and Epicor software. From tracking inventory to inspecting goods, this role involves regular interaction with other departments to keep shipments on schedule.

- 5:00am-1:30pm
- 6:00am-2:30pm
- 7:00am-3:30pm
Pay
- $20.34-$36.24/hour, based on experience
- Weekly paychecks every Friday
Location and Work Environment
- Brand new facility in Dayton, MN
- Clean working environment
- Option to wear one earbud on the production floor
Responsibilities and Duties
- Package parts per appropriate shipping method to prevent damage during shipment
- Maintain item packaging and weight records
- Create, print, and assemble packing lists
- Plan shipments per delivery schedule to ensure items are shipped on time
- Inspect incoming goods and distribute to other departments
- Complete all related documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Train additional staff members, as needed
Skills and Qualifications
- Shipping or precision machining job shop experience
- Epicor experience
- Forklift experience
- BOM and MRP experience
- Cycle counting experience
- Inventory system experience
- High school diploma OR equivalent (required)
- Pre-employment background check (required)
- Pre-employment drug screen (required)
