Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals in Maple Grove is hiring for CNC Machinists (Swiss and Milling). Our client is a one-stop-shop for custom machining needs, so previous Swiss CNC machine experience is required. Join a tenured team with an emphasis on authenticity, integrity, and company culture!
Schedule
- Day Shift: M-Th 6:00am to 4:30pm
- Night Shift: M-Th 4:30pm to 3:00am
Pay
- $20.00 - 30.00/hour Depending on Experience

Responsibilities and Duties
- Plan machining using work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, and orthographic drawings
- Manage inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, and placing orders
- Program mills and lathes with zero and reference points
- Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting chucks, tools, and attachments
- Load feed mechanism by positioning stock
- Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run parts, and samples
- Maintain specifications during drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread chasing
- Ensure safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in working order
- Document and communicate actions to maintain shift continuity
- Complete production and quality logs
- Update job knowledge through educational opportunities
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous Swiss CNC experience (required)
- Ability to operate CNC mills
- Great computer and technical skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong team player
