New Opportunity - Direct Hire!
We are seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor for a client in the west metro! The 2nd Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations as a hands-on leader, motivating warehouse employees, leading by example, and fostering a safe and positive environment.
Schedule: 4:00pm - 12:30am; Monday - Friday
- Oversees warehouse operations as a hands-on leader and leads warehouse team members by example to ensure all policies and best practices are being followed
- Supervises and improves all inbound, outbound and internal inventory movement
- Directs workload and daily assignments of warehouse team members
- Provides on-the-job training to employees
- Works with Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Team lead to manage staffing and workflow
- Maintains an organized warehouse, including inspecting equipment, maintaining inventory and placing orders as needed
- Provides feedback on warehouse team members' performance to Warehouse Manager
- Supports Warehouse Manager on projects as needed
- Coordinates daily with day shift management to align on priorities and optimize operational workflow
- Monitors workspace for safety to ensure all tasks are carried out with safety in mind and all safety processes and procedures are followed
- Ensures a clean and safe work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of Warehouse Supervisor experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations
- Ability to multi-task
- Experience with stand-up forklifts
