rover security unarmed security officer is a mobile, unarmed guard who patrols and responds to incidents across multiple locations as needed, rather than being stationary at one post. Their duties include monitoring for suspicious activity, responding to alarms, checking doors, and reporting hazards to ensure safety and security for clients. This role requires flexibility in schedule and location, good communication skills, and the ability to quickly assess and react to various situations.
- Patrolling: Performing mobile patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized activities.
- Incident response: Responding to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies as they arise.
- Surveillance: Monitoring security systems like CCTV and access control panels.
- Hazard reporting: Observing, correcting, and reporting safety hazards, such as fire risks.
- Reporting: Completing detailed reports on activities, incidents, and observations.
- Interaction: Interacting with staff, visitors, and the public to provide information and a visible security presence.
Skills and requirements
- Flexibility: Must be able to work various schedules, including weekends and overtime, and travel to different sites.
